Belly on peircing dillemma!!! help!!?

I got my belly on peirced about 6 weeks ago and my parents don't know. i was just gona hide it until my 18th birthday in like a month, but my stepmom has to alter my prom dress in like a week so she will def see me without a shirt.....if i take the ring out for 10 to 15 minutes do you think it would close? she will literally kick me out of the house if she see's it. what can i do!!!!!!!
