Egg donors needing answers about 2 periods after donation?

I just went through a cycle of egg donation the end of October and it went as though it was a textbook case other then after donating 32 follicles I went back for my 2 week checkup and I had grown another 15 follicles and my ovaries were still swollen. I was told to go back on BC for a month and the follicles would dissipate with my next period. I was ok with that except my next period came a week later after I just had my 1st period. Has anyone ever had something similar happen like this after an egg donation cycle? Any help would be appreciated as the doctors office is closed until Monday..
