I'm looking to use whey protein in conjunction with creatine and need a plan on how to use it?

The air force is looking for me to do more push ups. I am currently doing a push up work out every other night. When it come to push ups I have a horrible metabolism (I was in the army once so I know) I am looking to get a few extra reps. I imagine I should take whey protein after each workout but when and how should I use the creatine?
