Why do some women not want to see a male doctor?

I was booking a doctor's appointment and the secretary asked me if I minded having a male doctor. I was surprised. I don't see why a woman would care about being seen by a male doctor (unless she is a devout Muslim), since all doctors, male and female, are professionals with the same training. Its not like they haven't seen or heard everything before
