Why wouldn't they make combat training for black ops offline?

I was just wondering everyones opinion. I have wireless Internet which I connect my slim to, but my Internet is so slow cuz I live out in the country. I have the most expensive and best Internet that they could give us out here but it is still slow as **** and has a limited bandwidth so if you download too much, it will slow it down. I bought black ops not even knowing about combat training but when i heard about it I was like SWEET! Offline with bots?! That's awesome! But then I saw you need gold for it.. I could buy gold and then just play it with myself and bots but idk if it would be like a match with other people online and be laggy. I was wondering why they wouldn't include it offline? Not everyone is as fortunate to have Internet at their house. I think they should do an update making it offline too... It's not like they will LOSE sales, if anything, they will Make more sales from it. And people won't stop buying gold cuz it's not the same as playing with real people and your friends. Opinions on this? I'm only 15 and I've made sure with my parents that we have the best Internet, so as long as either it's only online or they can give us better Internet, I'm ****** haha.
