Help about enlisting in airforce with pending law charges?

I'm about to enlist in the airforce bur my recruitor said I won't be able to enlist until the charges are settled. ( it's a treaspong charge) but I've never gotten any court papers and it's been over 3 months since I have gotten arrested. So my ? Is I heard that if I don't get my court papers within three weeks than the prosecutor won't do anything or the charges have been dropped. Can anyone plz help me!!?!? BTW I live in Indiana. O ya and I've called the clerks office and theysaid that the prosecutor still hasnt done anything about it
