Is it possible for my husband and i to consolidate our school loans together?

my husband and i went to the same vocational school, and have school loans out for the same amount from the same lender. we also have a tuition answer loan out that is in both our names. is it possible to consolidate our loans together so we are only have to pay one manage-able payment instead of several large payments that are difficult to meet?
