Will a lsr nut fit on a fender squier strat?

Hello! The width of the Squier guitar nuts will vary between the different models from 1.61 to 1.687 inches. The LSR nut measures 1.687, or 1-11/16-inches in width. Yes, it will fit, but you may end up with slightly narrower (or even wider) string spacing, which is generally not a problem. The bigger question is whether it is worth the cost ($30 for the nut, and $75 for the installation) to modify a guitar that has a pre-owned value of less than $100.
