Student loan consolidation?

i need to consolidate my student loans. i'm still a student though. i was attending one school and the school turned out to be a scam school. now i owe about 40 grand and no one will let me consolidate what i owe because i don't have a degree. if i don't consolidate, i won't be able to keep going to school.
