I think I found my birth father!!!?

I was looking around googling and then i decided to check out myspace and i think i found my birth father. He lives in the same state as me and he's the right age. Kind of looks like me too...im so freaked out...should i email him??? His parents dont like my mom therefore when she called to tell them i was graduating highschool in 2003, they didnt want nothing to do with me and then when i had my daughter in 2004, they didnt seem to care. We never talked to my birthfather but we did to his parents and i just dont know if he'll be mean to me or just deny me and stuff...im just so scared. Im not the kind of person who can take rejection well...i just want him to know he has a grandchild and lifes to short for him not to know her. What should i do?? Please, no mean comments...this is a very touchy subject for me!
