Is he just saying thiss?

i liked this one guy over the summer, but he has a girlfriend. He broke up w. his gf and we did sum stuff. Then we just stopped talking becasue he thot that it was my fault him and his gf broke up. So, recently, he just started talking to me again. Well, he was like i want u to know what i was really thinking this summer. i was like okay. & he said, i think ur beautiful, i shouldnt have used u cause u deserve better, i want u back ( i have a boyfriend now), and then he told me to stay with the boy i am with now becasue they are friends and he doenst want to ruin the friendship i guess. But, he flirts with me all the time and talks to me very ually. And he knows im not going to say anything back becuase im not going to cheat on my boyfriend. What i am wondering is if he is just saying all this sweet stuff to get in my pants, and do again what we did that summer, or does he actually like me? opinions please.
